First of all, accept whatever negative situation you are in. accepting is something that helps you to get stronger.
Also, you need to accept that you can’t control time and things. It’s something out of your control and trying to control it will make you feel more negative.
So, after you accept that with all your heart and let it go and let it be as it is, the next step is to start finding some kind of solution if you can find one. Whatever is that solution. It might not solve the problem but it might make you feel better.
Find a solution and then try and find something positive out of the negative situation, and BELIEVE that there is going to be something positive after that situation. Successful people are successful because they believed that in every bad and negative situation there is something positive and their focus instead of seeing at the negative is to find the positive in those situations. So, focus on finding at least something positive out of the negative. There is always something positive.
Most probably you are stuck in your mind thinking negatively. You should get out of your mind and feel, get in touch with your body.
As a blogger, I have read so many books and thousands of blogs but you must have heard a little story about potatoes, coffee beans, and eggs.
Once upon a time, a student walks into the teacher’s office and complained that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed and this is kept ongoing.
Her teacher brings all the students to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil without saying a word to students. The students were surprised and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He took the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup and asked the students, “What do you see?” “Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” they hastily replied.
“Look closer”, he said, “and touch the potatoes.” Students did and noted that they were soft.
He then asked a student (the one who complaint) to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg.
Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.
“Sir, what does this mean?” she asked.
He explained that the potatoes, the eggs, and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity – the boiling water. However, each one reacted differently.
The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak. The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard. However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.
“Which one are you?” he asked his students. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?”
Students were shocked to see results.
The moral of the story:
In life, things happen around us, and things happen to us. The only thing that truly matters is your choice of how you react to it and what you make of it. Learn, adapt and choose to make the best of each experience.
There is a trait of those who are negative and that is they are highly impatient. There is an opposite trait of those who are positive. They are highly patient. That is also why they are positive. They see the light standing far off.
What you focus on grows? Stand in front of a mirror and start noticing how you have less hair and all of a sudden every time you stand in front of the mirror – you will remind yourselves how bad your situation is. Instead, the focus can be on how beautiful you look when you smile. You will smile more often.
So, when people around you are negative, you are more than happy to see a better need to be positive, forever. Also, helps them to get out of negativity. After all, what is the use of being positive when you can’t help people? Negativity has a tangible effect on our health, too. Research has shown that people who cultivate negative energy experience more stress, more sickness, and less opportunity throughout their lives than those who choose to live positively. When we decide to become positive and follow that decision up with action, we will begin to encounter situations and people that are also positive. The negative energy gets edged out by all positive experiences. It’s a snowball effect.
Always keep in mind that it’s the negatives that make us stronger. So be strong and fight. Don’t give up. Be patient and maintain perseverance.
The best way to maintain positivity in a negative society is to develop positivity around you:
- Surround yourself with positive-minded people as much as possible
- Shun the negative people as much as you can.
- Surround yourself with people whom you love.
- Avoid the company of people whom you don’t like.
- Read the books that give you hope and positivity.
- Don’t waste your time on gossips where people usually talk negative things about others.
- Take up challenges in life that require 100% of your concentration and effort.
- Remind yourself every day that you are a positive person and a winner.
It is wisely said that a man is known by the company he keeps.
If you start creating your little positive environment, you make everyone around you positive and you stay positive effortlessly.
Hammering the last nail, I would like to say that Negativity or positivity are natural consequences of changes in nature & our reaction. them. We cannot change nature, but it is consequences are to be met boldly & wisely. However, miseries brought over by humanity can be controlled ingeniously by proper mindset & respecting the values & virtues of every creation in this world.
