Blackheads are basically clogged pores. So taking care of this small thing regularly can just improve your overall skin health and make it look more clear. Not everyone has the time to go to the saloon every single week to get rid of them.
Basically, what a blackhead is, is when you have dirt, oil, and debris, clogged within a pore, and it becomes oxidized and turns black.
Here are some of the ways to get rid of blackheads.
1. Take hot shower
Another thing that you can do, is either take a really hot shower or if you have a facial steamer, you can sit with your
face over the steam, for about 5-10 minutes, whatever your comfort level is. Less time definitely, if you have a more sensitive skin.
Basically what that’s going to do, is it’s going to bring all of the cloggings to the surface, and it’s just going to make it really easy for you to take your fingers, and basically, kind of, do a little rolling motion. So what you want to do is you want to actually take your fingers, basically, roll the skin, and then just kind of do a wiggle motion.
You never want to use your nails, and actually rip any skin off, because that’s going to leave a scar. So if you just take your fingers, and kind of wiggle, after a good steaming, those blackheads are going to just pop right out of the skin.
