As TED educator Anita Collins says “When you listen to music, multiple areas of your brain become engaged and active. But when you play an instrument, that activity becomes more like a full-body brain workout. Playing an instrument is your go-for hobby to get smarter. Almost every smart and famous person played an instrument. For instance, Einstein played piano and the violin, Charles Dickens played the accordion, Steven Spielberg plays clarinet. I believe that men like to play the guitar. It may not make them smarter but helps them to relax and acts like meditation.
Probably it might be weird to call the obsession a hobby for men. Nevertheless, this is what definitely can make one smarter. Staying positive no matter the situation and always trying to find the silver lining is my man favorite habit. Because he loves that he has developed this skill for these reasons. When staying positive, you learn to assess the situation for what it is, not for what it seems like. This allows you to see what change you want to bring forth within yourself. This doesn’t mean you have to stay positive, but just having that option is freeing and can be used to great advantage. Imagine if you weren’t bound by your emotions and could choose how to feel. How much more productive would you be? How much of your life would change for the better?

That’s why most men listen to podcasts.

Men love to have window farms because it is a hydroponic urban gardening system that was originally developed by Britta Riley using open-source designs. Solving puzzles can make you feel enthusiastic when you are feeling low. A different personality may have more desire to create than to solve problems, and of course, solving problems, re-engineering, creating, and inventing are all ways mankind has changed his world and made things better for himself and his family. Some people like to work in a group, some people like to work solitary, some people enjoy creating, others enjoy designing or organizing, others enjoy problem-solving. Often a person is stronger in some abilities than in others and has a preference for one or two verses others.
The art world just doesn’t recognize and glorify female artists as it does men. Another reason is women haven’t had the opportunities as men to pursue careers in any capacity, including art. One thing is sexism in the art world. Another contribution, to this I just learned today is that women were banned from painting with oils for centuries in Europe because the artist guilds that controlled the artistic profession in Europe didn’t allow women to paint in oils.
16. Cooking something delicious
Cooking is a useful skill for anyone to have, particularly if you’re like me and you like good food but don’t want to pay a fortune for it. It’s great for your wallet, taste buds, and health. 17. Home-brewing beer
Well, the biggest pro to home brewing is that it’s fun. It’s an excellent way to spend a day, sitting outside, brewing a beer, maybe barbecuing, and drinking a couple of beers while you’re at it. Also on the pro side, if you like beer, you can brew exactly what you want, instead of buying beers that may be good but aren’t made exactly to your tastes.
